About us
We build exhaust tech for racing. Starting with the valve.
Valve Cartel is a sole proprietorship based in Lübeck, Germany. We develop, manufacture, code and test exhaust valve control units in-house, currently for ten car makes and for BMW motorcycles. Alongside them we offer exhaust hardware such as our catless downpipes.
Why we exist
It started with a question: why should pressing a button mean a trip to the garage? An exhaust valve is a two-state device. That its operation depends on the driving mode is a manufacturer decision, not a technical necessity. We hand that decision back to whoever owns the vehicle.
How we work
Every module is flashed for one specific vehicle generation and tested before it ships. There is no universal device that somehow fits everything: control schemes differ between model series and sometimes between facelifts of the same series. That is why every product page states the model years it covers, and why the vehicle finder exists.
What we do not claim
Our products have no German road traffic approval, no EC type approval and no ECE approval. They are intended for motorsport, show use and export. We say so on every product page, in the cart and in our terms, because that belongs before the purchase and not after it.
If your vehicle is missing
Then tell us. We build in the order things are asked for, and the wish list exists for exactly that. It is not a newsletter: we get in touch when there is something for your vehicle, and otherwise we do not.
